Dr Claudia Nadal

Veterinary Intern (Rotating)

Dr Claudia Nadal - Veterinary Intern (Rotating)
Dr Claudia Nadal DVM MRCVS Veterinary Intern (Rotating)

Claudia has always known that she wanted to be a vet, and could not imagine herself doing anything else – she started horse riding and owned her first dog at a very young age, so she has always been surrounded by animals in her day-to-day life.

Claudia discovered her keen interest in small animal medicine and surgery after spending a year working in a mixed practice, so she knew that a rotating internship was the perfect opportunity to develop her knowledge and skills in high-standard veterinary care.

“My most memorable case is a Bengal cat from my previous practice, who had to have hindlimb amputation due to a very proximal femur fracture, but even with all the pain and after the surgery he was still the most lovely, talkative and cuddly cat. A true fighter!”

On her days off, Claudia likes to have a slow morning, hang out with some friends during the day, try to enjoy the sun if possible, and wind down in the evening with a good series, some crafty activity like crocheting or embroidery, and some tasty food.

In the future, Claudia would love to continue her training so that she can specialise in internal medicine or surgery and work in a veterinary hospital in her hometown, Palma de Mallorca.
