Shannon Brooks

Shannon studied veterinary nursing in Australia before moving to the UK in 2020 to continue her nursing career.

Shannon joined the HSR nursing team in 2023 after working predominantly in emergency care, and has recently completed her Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care via Vets Now. After treating emergency orthopaedic patients at her previous hospital, Shannon decided to further explore this specialty at a referral level. Shannon enjoys the fast-paced environment and wide variety of cases of the orthopaedic department, and is excited to be a part of a very experience orthopaedic team.
 
At home, Shannon has her own Australian Kelpie Charlie, and enjoys reading and exploring this side of the world.
