Dr Cassandra Traynor Muñoz

Cassandra chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine as from a young age she always felt immense compassion and love towards animals. This inspired her to become an advocate for them, giving a voice to the voiceless and committing to provide the highest quality of care. Cassandra feels very strongly about animal welfare, supporting animal charities and encouraging adoption from shelters. 

Cassandra chose to embark on a rotating in internship as she is a new graduate, and wanted to gain experience and knowledge in the different disciplines at a high standard. She has a particular interest in Neurology and Neurosurgery. 

Cassandra loves to travel and experience new cultures. As her mother is from Ecuador, she has been able to spend time there with family. Cassandra enjoys cooking, reading and watching rugby in her spare time, but most of all she loves taking her two rescue dogs, Sofia and Oscar, for long walks in the Irish countryside. 

In the future, Cassandra’s goal is to continue working towards specialising in neurology.
